Hutan TRK 14 Todo adalah salah satu destinasi wisata yang wajib masuk daftar kunjungan Anda saat berada di Manggarai. Hutan ini memiliki kekayaan flora dan fauna yang hidup di dalamnya mulai dari burung-burung endemik seperti kancilan Flores (Pachycephala nudigula) hingga beberapa jenis mamalia seperti monyet (Macaca fascicularis), landak (Hystrix javanica), babi hutan (Sus scrofa vitatus), dan musang (Paradoxurus hermaphrodites). Untuk potensi flora, terdapat beberapa jenis tumbuhan tinggi dan tumbuhan rendah khas hutan hujan tropis mulai dari pohon pakis (cyathea), bunga anggrek (Orchidaceae) yang tumbuh bebas di bawah hutan kanopi.
Kaya akan kandungan vegetasi dan dipadati pepohonan besar membuat hutan ini menjadi daya tarik wisata di Kabupaten Manggarai terlebih lagi karena lokasinya yang merupakan satu kesatuan dengan kampung adat tersohor, Wae Rebo. Aktivitas wisata yang dilakukan di hutan ini adalah kegiatan wisata minat khusus mulai dari pengamatan burung (bird watching) dan melihat beberapa binatang liar seperti monyet, babi hutan dan ratusan jenis burung lainya. Dengan lokasinya yang sangat strategis, pintu masuk Hutan TRK 14 Todo berada di Wae Lomba dengan ketinggian 757 mdpl terletak di Desa Satar Lenda Kecamatan Satar Mese Barat, Kabupaten Manggarai. Untuk menuju ke hutan TRK 14 Todo, pengunjung cukup menghabiskan waktu sekitar 2 jam 30 menit menggunakan mobil atau sepeda motor dengan jarak tempuh 77 km dari pusat kota Ruteng.

The TRK 14 Todo Forest is one of the tourist destinations that must be included in your itinerary when visiting Manggarai. This forest is home to a wealth of flora and fauna, ranging from endemic birds such as the Flores white-eye (Pachycephala nudigula) to several species of mammals such as monkeys (Macaca fascicularis), porcupines (Hystrix javanica), wild boars (Sus scrofa vitatus), and civets (Paradoxurus hermaphrodites). In terms of flora, there are several types of tall and low plants typical of tropical rainforests, ranging from cyathea trees to orchids (Orchidaceae) that grow freely under the forest canopy. Rich in vegetation and densely populated with large trees , this forest is a tourist attraction in Manggarai Regency, especially because of its location, which is integrated with the famous traditional village of Wae Rebo. Tourist activities carried out in this forest are special interest activities ranging from bird watching to observing several wild animals such as monkeys, wild boars, and hundreds of other bird species. With its strategic location, the entrance to the TRK 14 Todo Forest is in Wae Lomba at an altitude of 757 meters above sea level, located in Satar Lenda Village, Satar Mese Barat Subdistrict, Manggarai Regency. To reach the TRK 14 Todo Forest, visitors only need to spend about 2 hours and 30 minutes by car or motorcycle, covering a distance of 77 km from the city center of Ruteng.
